1.A ball is thrown horizontally from the roof of a building 45.0 m tall and lands 24.0 m from the base. What was the ball’s initial speed?

2. A ball thrown horizontally at from the roof of a building lands 36.0 m from the base of the building. How tall is the building?

how la dei... how to find speed when time isn't given.
i think it's something to do with free fall. hence acceleration is constant. hence u can use da formulas of situation with uniform acceleration.
a=9.8m/ss
x=45-24?=21? correct?
then wat's t?

Of rumours and big mouths

Yesterday in YE, Zlwin said that Christians talk alot. How true.

There have been some ppl asking some other ppl why i suddenly go to church.
Do i need a reason? Can't i be more religious than before?

Last time i go to church with my parents only during occasions.
Easter/Good Friday/Xmas.
My parents dun go church on Sundays wan. They stopped a long time ago d, duno y la. So of coz i dun go oso la rite?
But now i try to take the inisiative to start attending. Anything wrong with that?

Then another issue.
How come me, as a newcomer, know so many ppl in church ady?
Cannot? Jealous? Can't i be friendly? Can't i make friends in church? Must be slowly izit?
Ish. I dunno why are they behaving like this..
Ur frens abandoned u bcoz of me izit? I dun think so.
U feeling left out izit? Probably.
Or u don't like me? Tell me straight la. Then i won't fucking bother u la. I'll try to stay outta ur sight by all means.

I really don't know what's goin on with these ppl la. Seriously. Kurang kasih sayang.
If you terasa, it might not be you la. Coz i myself duno who izit. N im not eager to find out.

Of Lateness and Clothes

On monday, i was late for my maths lecture by half an hour.
The cause of it- stupid UTAR bus din come. Waited for an hour n finally took Rapid bus.
I was with Shyne Sze.
So we walked into the class.
The lecturer looked at us one kind. He's a joker. We call him Ogawa, but his real name is Ong Ka...something la, i dun really noe.

Anyways.
1st thing he said when we walk in..
Wahh u all wana come late oso dun come in the door together la. Give like a 2 minutes gap or something. Onot look like wat oni.
It din stop there.
Next time wana pak tor oso wake up earlier lor..

Then, we're forced to sit right in front in the lecture hall. As usual, i was in my surf pants n beach flops. So he kutuk me sumore.
U came all the way from Port Dickson ah? That's why late and wear lidat hor..?
That's not all.
Ei, is there any beach near UTAR meh..? How come i duno wan?

And so, the whole lecture, me n Shyne Sze became the victim. Have to answer all the questions. Haha.. At least i answered correctly. Thank God.
But all good things come to an end, right?
I answered one question wrongly. Kena kutuk sumore..
You know wat.. U go PuduRaya.. Buy 1 ticket to Port Dickson.. Stay there and dun come back ok!

Hahahaahahah.. What a day. But it was fun. I didn't take anything personally. Everyone knows he's a joker.

The moral of the story.. Never ever trust ur college bus. And dun be late if ur a surfer. And when ur late, dun walk into a door with a gal at the same time. And dun take jokes seriously. OK? Hehe..

Btw, now im the Beach Boy of UTAR. xD

Update

Currently i'm living in my own world, i guess. Still getting use to college life. Hence, the less frequent blogging. I can't even think straight. Still moving on though.

Most probably will be renting a house with a bunch of friends in PJ, ss17. Moving in only at the end of next month. Need to find more ppl. Anybody interested, let me know, pronto. Preference to girls. xD

Note to guys
Do not take engineering unless u're like really into it. Coz there're not many girls! Hot ones dunnit to say la, very RARE. I went to the other block which has Accountancy and Business etc that day and omg...so many leng luis. Sadness.

Note to all
If u think u're damn good in Maths n Add Maths n all the numbers n counting... U might think Acturial Science is the best course for you. Think again. College maths is a whole new level of difficulty. Even im facing some difficulties. Haha.. Just bcoz Acturial Science is very rare n special n unique, it's the best course that will make u earn big bucks? NO.
There are not many acturies in Malaysia. Yup. Why? Coz not many are needed. Reality check. So that means ur job opportunity is VERY LOW. Unless u do very well. Good luck.

I'm currently doing Mechatronics Engineering. Thinkin of switching to Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I don't know. I need some PROPER views and advice from u guys... Please and thank you.
